This is Vik's second maternity shoot with me. This time, she opted for an outdoor session, incorporating it with a day out with the two boys in her life. A maternity shoot with a toddler is no easy feat for mommy and so the presence of dad is critical to run around and chase the little one! We started off with some family portraits and then released both boys to play in the park while I took my time to focus on mom's beautiful bump.

And then it was time to focus on mommy, and only mommy. Vik summoned her inner goddess of (further) grace and beauty that powered us through the rest of the morning. Below are some of her solo maternity portraits:
And our finale shoot....this was almost accidental. Vik was getting pretty tired by then and stole a moment to lie down on an ancient and massive root. I was so taken by the serene scene and her graceful curves that I commanded her to continue resting. As she drifts off to sleep to the sound of rustling leaves, the camera and I worked hard to capture this enveloped-in-nature-sleeping-in-style scene. This must have been her favourite pose of the session. And it turns out to be my personal favourite shot of the day too!
